Haven Label wants to support Australian charities and families.
Around two million Australians live with anxiety, and around one million live with depression. Sadly, on average eight Australians take their lives every day.
Beyond Blue Support is available for all Australians to speak to a trained counsellor at any time.
This service is experiencing increased demand during the COVID-19 pandemic as more people reach out due to the effects of social distancing, isolation, and employment insecurity.
Our trained mental health professionals listen, provide advice and counselling, and point people in the right direction to receive the support they need.
Beyond Blue works with the community to improve mental health and prevent suicide, so that all people in Australia can achieve their best possible mental health.
Through their 2020 Strategy, they are working across three strategic priorities:
- Promoting mental health and wellbeing so people have greater knowledge, feel safe to talk openly about their issues and are supported to ask for help when they need to.
- Being a trusted source of information, advice, and support so we can all better understand how to maintain our mental health and take steps to recover from mental health conditions.
- Working together to prevent suicide by playing a lead role in the national effort to prevent suicide through research, information, advice and support, and advocacy.
